A fast and easy NEEDLEPOINT sample today. I always like to have a small project that stitches up quickly on the go.
Marie has stitched this pattern for a scissor fob and biscornu. The pattern is “Lily” designed by Canadian designer Kathryn Drummond of Gingerbread Girl Designs. It measures 3 ½ inches square on 18 count white mono canvas. I think this would look great on a coloured canvas, perhaps pale orange, green or brown.
Marie has used Colour Complements Colour #57 which is a blend of rich browns for the outer border. She has used Colour Complements Colour #56 which is a beautiful blend of golden yellow and rust/brown and dark gray/teal. The green is DMC Colour #3364.
