CRAZY QUILTING Some lovely CRAZY QUILTING today. I love to receive photos from customers who use my threads in crazy quilting. Irene sent me these lovely photos of her stitching following inspiration from Kathy’s wonderful use of my ric rac posted on the blog last month. Irene writes, “I tend to be an over the top crazy quilter – if some is good more is better. Crazy quilting is a relatively new technique for me as I have only been stitching for a few years. The fabric pieces used in these needle cases are bits and pieces left over from other projects.”

Irene’s needle cases vary in size but most are about 9×5”. She lines them with Radiance which is a silk/cotton blend then adds a few pages of wool to hold needles.

Some of you may not be familiar with Radiance and I wanted to mention I use it quite a bit myself. It dyes up beautifully too and is gorgeous to stitch. Sadly it is not easy to find but if you google it you may find a shop that still has some in stock. It is worth the effort.

Thank you Irene for sharing your creativity.
