A NEEDLEPOINT stitch sample today showcasing a beautiful collection of colours. This reminds me of the colours I will soon be seeing when my clematis comes into bloom in my garden.
The pattern is “Geometric II” by Northern Pines Designs available free on their website HERE. This is the central portion of this pattern.
This version measures a little under 3 ½” on 18 count canvas. You will need one skein of each of the following AND you should easily be able to either duplicate this or create another sample for the back of an ornament or?!

I could see choosing Kreinik 1/16” ribbon in green or purple OR Kreinik size 8 braid in a green versus the purple shown here. This lovely sample was stitched by Johanna who is a member of the Victoria Embroiderers’ Guild.
