earthy-colour-palette

Although fall is not yet here, we are featuring a earthy fall palette this month, specifically focusing on Colour #35 which is an early Fall colour combination of greens, golden brown and browns. When I think about a fall seasonal palette, I gravitate towards the greens, browns and orange tones seen in the falling leaves. BUT, today I wanted to infuse a twist of creativity into this palette, and that’s where Colour #84 comes into play. This particular hue offers a delightful blend of fuchsia, berry red, and sunny yellow. It reminds me of the moments when fall leaves reveal a hint of fuchsia or berry tones just before they transform into the classic autumn brown.

The combination of Colour #29, Colour #35, and Colour #84 serves as an excellent starting point for a wide range of stitching projects.

For those wanting to expand this palette, consider the inclusion of various shades of brown and golden brown to add depth and dimension to your work. Additionally, introducing hints of fuchsia in a darker, almost magenta or crimson tone can add a bit of contrast, especially when paired with a stunning copper/magenta metallic thread. The possibilities are endless, offering you the creative freedom to bring your unique vision to life.

Later in the month, we will be showcasing a stitched sample using this palette, so stay tuned.
