I’m excited to introduce a new collection of products in the shop, a curated selection of colourful embroidery sampler thread kits!
If you are familiar with Colour Complements, you probably know that in the past I released collections of new colours and products several times annually. I used to offer smaller embroidery samplers but this year our embroidery sampler thread kits are all new and were created to help those of you who struggle with coordinating threads and colours. You have the opportunity to choose from a variety of collections. Let’s talk more about the contents.
So, what’s included in each embroidery sampler thread kit?
As explained above, the colour combinations for each kit will vary. However, each thread kit is consistent with contents including:
- 1 skein of rayon metallic: This adds a touch of sparkle and pop to your projects.
- 1 skein of silk perle: This gives any project a luxurious feel with the beautiful sheen of silk thread.
- 2 skeins of size 5 perle cotton: These are versatile and easy to work with, perfect for adding texture and depth.
- 1 skein of size 8 perle cotton: This floss is fine and delicate, ideal for intricate and detailed stitches.
- 1 skein of floss: The classic choice for embroidery, offering endless possibilities for creativity.
These thread kits are perfect for those looking for an easy way to play around with different colour combinations. We’ve done all of the guesswork for you! The colours found in each kit are paired to complement one another. This provides a foundation palette where more threads can be added to expand the colour palette for larger projects. Project inspiration for your embroidery sampler thread kits
The beauty of having these thread kits is that they are versatile enough to be used for any needlepoint project. The contents in each kit are ideal for small needlepoint projects.
