Today’s stitch sample video showcases Colour #33, which is a blue colour palette that includes a blend of blues and turquoise blues. I introduced this colour many years ago, and it remains just as popular now.

I frequently like to combine this when stitching with Colour #32 as it draws on the same turquoise/blues, but you could easily experiment with various colours. This is a great colour you can use all year round for any project! I love using it for Spring, Summer and Winter themed projects.

More About This Blue Colour Palette

In the video, I am stitching a small balloon satin stitch on 18 count mono canvas using size 5 perle cotton.I like to show my colour combinations stitched in a sample to give you a “visual” of the colour blend. For reference, you will find the stitch in the Stitches Volume 2 by Ruth Schmuff and Kathy Holicky. These books are ones that I like to use for my stitch samples as the diagrams are very easy to follow.

If you haven’t already, you will want to add Colour #33 to your stash! As mentioned before, it’s one of the most popular in the shop. Play around with the colour combinations in your own project. I look forward to seeing the palette YOU create!
