colour-of-the-month

This month we are showcasing Colour #186 as our feature colour of the month. By sharing stitched samples, we can inspire different palettes for this project or perhaps another project you may have in your unfinished project bin.

Colour #186 was initially dyed several years ago for a project designed by Canadian designer Lorene Salt. It is a beautiful blend of teal, purple, and deep blue variations. Lorene used this colour in her Bargello Muse design which some of you have likely stitched. While combining this combination with purples and teals would be obvious, we thought you might like to see a “different” palette featuring orange, pink, aqua and mint green! Quite different!
