Today’s video highlights our feature colour for April, a fun, bright spring colour combination. Colour 23 is a beautiful easter themed blend of blue, coral pink and yellow with hints of green.
Can you envision these colours in your easter basket? How about these colours in your garden OR perhaps a spring themed painted canvas? Some cross-stitch?
Let’s Take A Closer Look At This Spring Colour Combination
In the video, I am stitching a broad cross stitch on 18-count mono canvas using a size 5 Perle cotton. Naturally, you may prefer to use size 8 perle cotton or perhaps floss. I think it is beneficial to see colour combinations stitched up so you can see a “visual” of how the colours blend.
You can find a chart of this stitch in Stitches Volume Two by Ruth Schmuff and Kathy Holicky. These books are ones that I like to use for my stitch samples as the diagrams are very easy to follow.
I hope you enjoy the video and you add Colour 23 to your stash – you won’t be disappointed!
