This beautiful green needlepoint stitch sample video is fitting to highlight, because we’re celebrating the colour green throughout this month!
The stunning colour combination shown here is Colour #55 from our collection. This particular blend is light to medium value greens.
To me, it’s a perfect balance – this colour is not too loud, but vibrant enough that it can be used in a variety of different ways. I can envision this being the perfect shade for a spring-themed project with florals and blooms.
Let’s Take A Closer Look At This Green Needlepoint Stitch Sample
In the video, I am stitching a balloon satin stitch on 18-count mono canvas using a size 5 Perle cotton.
I like to show my colour combinations stitched in a sample to give you a “visual” of the colour blend.
For reference, you will find the stitch in the Stitches Book Volume One by Ruth Schmuff and Kathy Holicky. These books are ones that I like to use for my stitch samples as the diagrams are very easy to follow.
