Playing Around With A Bright Orange Colour Combination
My needlepoint sample video features Colour #77 today – a beautiful orange colour combination. This is the final colour combination from my 2021 fall collection.
When I dye my collections, I always like to include at least one blend that works well combined with several of the colours within the collection. This allows a stitcher to easily create a palette for a project. Colour #77 is a blend of golden brown, golden yellow and muted orange.
It has some similarities with Colour #37. However, the addition of golden brown makes this different from #37.
I feel this colour will look gorgeous combined with purples and browns. I’ll be sharing this colour combination more in an upcoming fall sample.
Make sure you visit the blog throughout the month to see it!
More about this bright orange colour combination
I am stitching on 18-count mono canvas in size 5 Perle cotton in the video.
The featured stitch is a Hungarian Stitch Pattern. You can find the diagram for this stitch in Volume 1 of the Stitches Books. There are five volumes and each of these books offer easy to follow diagrams.
Please remember to visit the blog throughout September as I will be showcasing samples of all four new colours in my fall collection. Watch for the sample this Friday featuring Colour #77.
