Today’s cross stitch showcases one of our new, bold colour palette combinations — Colour 84. I mentioned earlier this month that this colour is a beautiful blend of fuchsia and variations of yellows. Hence, BOLD!
This blend reminds me of the colours seen in maple leaves when they have fallen on the ground later in the season. You can often see burgundy, brown and fuchsia spots. It’s quite a unique and non-traditional colour combination for the Fall season. As you can see with the pattern, it blends beautifully together!
How we used this bold colour palette combination
Dominique has stitched this stunning element from a larger pattern called “Paradigm Lost” designed by Long Dog Samplers. She used one strand of cotton floss on 40-count white linen. I think this design is gorgeous, stitched in Colour #84. It almost gives off a very majestic feel, don’t you think?
For those of you who cross-stitch, I know we will start seeing mystery SAL’s coming soon for 2023! This might be an excellent colour choice for a larger design, so keep it in mind.
