tiny-treasures-cross-stitch

Some tiny treasures today!  A couple of partridges in a pear tree?  I’m thinking about Christmas here so let’s go with it despite it has come and gone!!!!!

Any of you who do cross stitch will likely be familiar with Betsy Morgan.  Betsy is well known in the needlework community, especially for her charming stitching accessories.  I believe under normal circumstances (pre COVID) she teaches at various venues.

The birds above are a small motif in her Tiny Treasures cross stitched etui design.  The design was inspired by the Quakers and consists of an etui as well as several smaller needlework accessories.

This sample was stitched on 32 count linen and measures approximately 3 x 3.  Dominique has used Colour #188 in 1 strand of floss.  Colour #188 is a gorgeous blend of green, red, yellow and blue.  While I originally dyed this colour combination for the fall, I think it looks stunning in this small sample for perhaps Christmas!

If you are interested in the pattern you will find a digital version on the Inspirations Studios website.

Can you imagine stitching one of these wee accessories yourself?  Check out Colour #188 in the SHOP.
