Our cross-stitch sample features Colour #46, a tropical colour combination that includes three colours highlighted in our feature colour series this month.

It is always fun to showcase a cross-stitch sample featuring colours you may not necessarily use together. This sample came about from leftover bits on the table following some stitching.

Taking a closer look at Colour #46, it is a blend of lemon/lime and various values of turquoise.

How this tropical colour combination looks stitched

We’ve used one strand of floss on 36-count cream linen. The pattern is a tiny element of the Garden Stars pattern by Ink Circles.

This colour combination can easily be paired with other colours you may have in your stash. In this case, we have combined it with Colour #58 in our sample above. The muted shades paired with the brighter colours of lime green blend beautifully together!
