Today’s video features a hot pink colour combination, which is one of the colours in our new Spring Collection!

I featured a cross-stitch sample previously but today we are sharing a needlepoint sample stitched with Colour #78.

Colour #78 is a BOLD monochromatic blend that incorporates different blends of pink! Because it’s so bright and packs a punch of colour, it will add a “wow” feature to your stitching.

It combines very well with Colour #79 but what about Colour #134 (which is a nice blend of cherry reds)? You might like to try it with Colour #69 which is a gorgeous red-violet – this would give a very bold palette but beautiful!

A Closer Look At This Hot Pink Colour Combination

In the video, I am stitching a bamboo stitch on an 18-count mono canvas using a Size 5 Perle cotton.

I like to show my colour combinations stitched in a sample to give you a “visual” of the colour blend. For reference, you will find the stitch in the Stitches Book Volume One by Ruth Schmuff and Kathy Holicky. These books are ones that I like to use for my stitch samples as the diagrams are very easy to follow.

I hope you enjoy the video and please visit the shop to enjoy a great selection of colours that would blend or contrast well with Colour #48. Remember, this fall blend will work well in cross stitch and wool applique too!
