Welcome to my Eye for Colour series! Today we’ll be featuring an Eye For Colour #31 My goal with the Eye for Colour series is to provide customers with a similar experience to selecting a colour palette and thread choices as you would do in a shop.
A Look at This month’s Eye for Colour Series #31
Today, I am featuring Colour #31, which includes colours that are reminiscent of juicy, bright watermelons.
While Christmas is some time yet, I thought it would be a good idea to share a colour combination that is ideal for some seasonal stitching. After all, it is never too early to get started on those Christmas ornaments!
Colour #31 includes a beautiful blend of red/pink, pink and bright green. The colour combinations found on this thread pair perfectly with Colour #184 which has a blend of different shades of green. As you can see in the video, using the two creates a beautiful seasonal palette of traditional green and red.
I kept my palette fairly simple and added only four solids including DMC colours 321, 893, 894 and 905.
I’ve also added some Rainbow Gallery products which include the following:
- Neon Rays 22, 138
- Entice 239, 283
