Featuring his month’s video – Eye for Colour #36!
We are featuring a bold Colour #36 in today’s Eye For Colour Series. If you are new to my blog, I showcase a few of these videos occasionally each month. My goal with the series is to provide customers with a similar experience to selecting a colour palette and thread choices as you would do in a shop.
Let’s take a closer look at Colour #36
It’s quite clear that Colour #36 just screams of bold, bright colours! More specifically, it is a blend of orange, red/orange, burnt orange with hints of golden yellow. The shades blend beautifully together creating a new colour of its own, don’t you think?
While Colour #36 looks stunning on its own, you can also pair it with other palettes.
I have chosen a fall palette to highlight Colour #36. I wanted to highlight the warmth that this colour can create when used in tandem with other “warm” colours. I started by adding Colour #57 from the Colour Complements collection which is a gorgeous blend of browns.

While this is a small palette of colours, I believe you could combine many more values of each of the solids to expand your choices. So, why not play with some fall colours?!
