baby-blooms-cushion

It has taken almost a year but Kathleen’s completed Baby Blooms Cushion final reveal today. It’s a beauty.

Remember, the pattern was designed by Australian designer, Wendy Williams of Flying Fish Kits.  I must admit, this is one of my favourites that Kathleen has completed to date. But I suppose this is no surprise since I am all about colour and this is indeed colourful!

It is small measuring 20 inches square but so delightful.  A lot is packed into a small space.

Kathleen used many Colour Complements threads throughout the design – yes, she has quite an extensive collection.  Always fun to see what stitches she chooses.  If any of you are not familiar with the stitches please take a look on Mary Corbet’s Needle N Thread website.  She has an excellent selection of video tutorials.

Thank you to Wendy Williams for designing this pattern and as always to Kathleen for sharing her wonderful stitching.
