colour-31-seasonal-stitching

Today I am sharing a rosetta stitched with some seasonal colours. After all, the holidays are fast approaching!

Colour #31 is one of my Christmas colours that I introduced several years ago.  It is a blend of bright green, reddish pink and pink.  I’ve used it in a variety of previous projects. A great seasonal colour!

I shared this same rosetta in Colour #3 earlier this year in THIS post if you would like to compare how each appears when stitched.

The sample is stitched on 32 count linen in Colour #31 using 2 strands of floss.  It is small measuring about 2 ½ inches.  Once again, it will be used as a card insert.

Since Christmas is on the way and it is a appropriate colour scheme, what about making it into a scissor fob for one of your fellow stitchers.  OR, perhaps add some borders and finish it into a small ornament. Remember, I feature this samples for inspiration. While it is a great blend of seasonal colours, you could also try it with pinks or reds for perhaps Valentine’s.

The pattern is by Tracy Horner of Ink Circle.  You will find it HERE.
