Portland Revisited designed by Sue Reed. This pattern was originally designed by Sue as a mini class but was updated with newer threads and some different stitches recently. I came across it on the ANG website offered as a HUMs project.
What is a HUMs?
It is a “holed up mini”. These are small projects available on the American Needlepoint Guild website complimentary to members and non-members. Various designers offer these projects to help keep stitchers focused on positive things during COVID. What a great idea! Thank you to all the designers who have created these lovely projects. Now, the projects are not permanently on the site so make sure you download them when you see them.
You can find the Portland Revisited pattern HERE.
When I saw the design I thought it would work well to showcase my fall collection. It is a very colourful sample!
It measures 3 ¼” on 18 count canvas. Dominique has used size 5 perle cotton in all my new fall colours with the addition of a green blend, Colour #184 and some Kreinik braid in blue.
