Today I’d like to share a lovely wool needle case created by one of my customers. Jill has an Etsy shop called Fiberluscious. Fiberluscious is an authentic handmade shop, dedicated to creating fun and fabulous sewing tools, original gifts and fine, fun, fabric art. It is all about fiber! She makes all the items she sells in her shop.
She recently purchased some of my perle cottons to use in this needle case. You will see Colour #183 which is a great blend of purples used in the tall flower stems as well as Colours #55 and #18 in her grass and leaves, all size 5 perle cottons.
She also created this leaf pincushion. Each section of the pincushion is filled with hand embroidery over needle felted roving and stuffed with emery. It measures about 5 inches long and 2 ¼ inches wide, 6 inches around at the fullest point. She offers the pincushion in five different colourways. You can find the embroidered leaf pincushion in her shop.
