I have some more beautiful creations to share today from Angela at Gossamer Tangles. If you missed my previous posts, Angela creates one of a kind crocheted jewelry or jewelry-type accessories.
She writes, “I create a variety of jewelry and jewelry-type accessories, as well as scarves and bags. I enjoy incorporating different types of materials into my creations. I use wire, beads, assorted types of fiber (yarn, ribbon, cord, thread, wool, fabric) sequins, buttons, clay, metal, paper, upcycled and recycled materials, and other miscellaneous items. I also use a variety of techniques — most often crochet, but also macrame, braiding, felting, sewing, and embroidery.”
Recently Angela has started experimenting with silk cocoons and you can see an example of one in the top left. She used one of my sampler packs and tells me it reminded her of jellyfish! A spiral pendant is shown in the upper right using Colour Complements Colour #14. The lower left is another necklace using Colour Complements Colour #186. She created a choker shown in the lower right using Colour Complements Colour #110.
You can find a selection of her creations in her Etsy shop at Gossamer Tangles.
