Want a small project for cross stitching?
If you have been following the blog then you will know I have been featuring a variety of small designs suitable for card inserts. Guilds frequently stitch cards for members who perhaps are ill or celebrations of some sort. Over the last months with stay at home orders there has been more time for stitching.
Earlier this month my stitch video featured Colour #3 which is a beautiful blend of corals/pinks/greens. It is a bright summer colour so good to perhaps cheer someone up!
Card inserts provide a wonderful opportunity to use up leftover bits of threads. This small rosetta was stitched with Colour #3 using 2 strands of floss and likely less than 2 meters. The pattern is one element a free pattern offered by Tracy Horner of Ink Circles. I “think” you will find this pattern HERE. The background is 32 count linen and measures about 2 ½ inches.
I have no doubt there are lots of cross stitching patterns available to stitch up some small samples. So, why not give one a go!
