Some of the stitch group decided to try some NEEDLEPOINT BOOKMARKS.
Susan stitched her bookmark using Colour Complements Colour #58. Colour #58 is another new colour combination. She created a variation of a free pattern found on Laura Perin’s blog. I am sorry but I do not have the specific pattern. Laura is a talented designer with a great selection of patterns for purchase. She also has various complimentary small patterns on her blog.
Susan chose Colour #58 in sizes 5 and 8 perle cotton. It is a blend of golden brown, purple and dark teal with hints of blues and greens. She added Colour #57 which is a gorgeous blend of rich browns. This is further accented with DMC Colour #208 (red violet/purple) in a size 5 perle cotton.
It is always fun to see what the stitch group comes up with. Remember, patterns can easily be adapted to stitch whatever you choose. These needlepoint bookmarks make great gift ideas.
