WOOL PROJECTS

wool applique

I have two wool projects to share today from Kerry.  If you have been following me for some time you will know that Kerry is one of my customers who is a prolific stitcher.

She recently completed the scissor holders above using a wool base with some simple stitching using cotton floss and size 8 perle cotton.  Yes, she used some Colour Complements threads but also some from her stash.  A variety of stitches were used – running, fly and straight.  The pom pom trim was purchased.  Kerry designed the pattern herself.

The second project is a bag created with a merino wool/rayon blend felt which Kerry purchased from Benzie design.  It is the “heathered palette”.  The accent of stitching is Colour Complements Colour #44.  You can find the felt collections HERE.

As always Kerry, it is a delight to see what you are working on.  Thank you for sharing.  If you would like to see some of Kerry’s previously projects check HERE.
