Returning to posting with some NEEDLEPOINT today.
It is always fun to share a project one of my customers has completed. Simone and Laurette are two of my Canadian customers who happen to be sisters as well. They live fairly close to one another and get together on a regular basis to stitch various projects.
They used a selection of Colour Complements threads to stitch this colourful design. The hummingbird was copied from some free clip art and transferred to the canvas. The canvas is 18 count mono and the design measures approximately 5×5 inches. They had the fabric in their stash.
I could easily see this hanging in a nursery or children’s room.
