EMBROIDERY, Colour Complements threads

Another delightful example of EMBROIDERY by one of my fantastic customers.  I just want to say, I have GREAT customers and am so thrilled when I receive photos.

Susan sent along this beautiful example of embroidery AND she created her own original design.  She tells me it is a take-off of a Jacobean style flower.  She used most of Colour Complements threads including some rayon which she loves as well as various sampler packs which work well as they are colour coordinated.  She focused on warm tones of yellows, orange and reds which make the flower pop.  Each petal of the open flower is stitched in a different, dimensional stitch.  Susan graciously shared some close-ups of her fabulous bullions and French knots.

I LOVE how it turned out – don’t you?  Thank you so much Suz!
