More NEEDLEPOINT STITCH SAMPLESÂ today and a couple of beauties! Â I absolute LOVE the combination above, Colour #15. Â When I started dyeing my fall collection, I knew I wanted to combine some turquoise in one of my combinations. Â I proceeded to experiment with some different variations of turquoise then different variations of browns and rusts. Â #15 is the result. Â It is a blend of various turquoise and rust shades – a definite orange/brown which would go really well in any southwestern themed canvases. Â The sample above shows a Nobuko stitch.
After I came up with #15 above, I started playing with other combinations with the turquoise. Â I happened to have some grey I had dyed for another colourway so this is what I came up with. Â Colour #16. Â It is various shades of turquoise blended with several values of grey. Â I’ll be showing an example next week of a small stitch sample I created with both of these colour combinations.
