CROSS STITCH SCISSOR FOB, CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT

Day 4 in my Colourful Christmas series!  Today I am sharing a creation by Diane, a lovely cross stitch scissor fob.  If you follow my blog you will likely remember I posted about Diane recently.  She ceates lovely cross stitched and hardanger gifts for stitchers.  She had gifted me with a biscornu BUT what I didn’t mention then is that she had also gifted me with this lovely scissor fob.  What a treat!

Diane has cross stitched this on 25 count white Lugana fabric using cotton floss, colour #175, a lovely blue blend.  It measures about 1 ½ inches in diameter.  She has finished the edges with beads and attached a narrow satin ribbon for hanging.

When I received this I knew I had to share it in my Colourful Christmas series this year.  I have decided it was so lovely that I will hang it on my Christmas tree as an ornament versus using it as a scissor fob.  For those of you who cross stitch perhaps you’d like to make one for yourself!!!!

Thank you Diane – what’s next in the series… you’ll just have to wait and see!
