I worked on some crazy quilting over the weekend. Another section of my medium dusty crazy quilt. I started this area by stitching feather stitch using two strands of floss. I added cheater roses and leaves with silk ribbon. The seam treatment on the right started with a detached chain stitch in a zig zag pattern using some of my hand dyed perle cotton size 8. I added three pistil stitches to the top of this. There was one rather dull piece of fabric in the upper right corner. I added a bit of layering with some hand dyed perle cotton – I’ll show more of this at another time.
