More crazy quilting today. This is another section of my medium dusty crazy quilt. On the left is some lace which I dyed then highlighted areas with beads. I started the seam treatment on the right with two rows of running stitch in a pale pink size 8 perle cotton. I then laced this with pink ribbon floss. Once this was complete I added pistil stitches on the bottom and two chain stitches on the top. In the upper right I stitched a branch using chain stitches in a rayon thread. The buds are French knots stitched loosely to give the appearance of tiny buds in silk ribbon. I love the background green embroidered fabric – lovely! That’s it for this week – see you Monday.
