SAMPLERS

SAMPLERS I have been playing catch up since my move in the dye studio so have added a few more SAMPLERS to my stock.  My samplers have proven very popular.  They are generally 4 skeins of different threads dyed in the same colour combination so great as a gift for a stitching friend or for stitching small projects.

In my post on Friday, I introduced silk perle once again and flat ribbon.  I did neglect to show some examples of the flat ribbon which is a very versatile thread.  I have shown a couple of photos of the flat ribbon used in crazy quilting – fabulous as detached chains, especially if you ad a bit of glitz too.  In the needlepoint samples below I have used 18 count canvas – love using the flat ribbon in my canvas projects.
