Today, my stitch sample features Colour #66.

Colour #66 is one of four new colours in my fall collection. It is a BOLD blend of various shades of ORANGE. This colour would be fantastic for pumpkins in a fall themed canvas. OR, perhaps combine it with one of my other fall colours for a beautiful palette.
I am stitching on 18 count mono canvas in the video in a size 5 perle cotton. The stitch is a Florentine stitch. I use the Stitches books by Ruth Schmuff and Kathy Holicky for my samples. The Florentine can be found in Volume 1 on page 130. Just a note that there are four volumes of these books which would be a great addition to your library.
I stitch these samples for my personal stitch library but I hope they will allow you to “see” how the colours blend and the appearance of the colour variations when stitched. Yes, I am continuing to stitch video samples for each colour I sell but it is taking a long…………. Time.
