It is all about PINK today.
I must admit, I have a bit of a love hate relationship with pink! I am not really a pink person. I rarely if ever would purchase anything in this colour in my clothing or home décor. So, do you like pink?
After a bit of research, pink is a delicate colour. It represents love. It is feminine and romantic (Valentine’s), affectionate and intimate, thoughtful and caring. I often associate it with bubble gum – if you are of a “mature” age you will know what I am talking about. Remember when you could fill a small brown bag with penny candies in candy stores? I know I am dating myself here. I would always add bubble gum to my bag then once chewed a bit, blow bubbles of course!
Anyway, back to the colour pink. I follow Jane Means on Instagram. She is a gift wrapping specialist in the UK and always posts the most magnificent photos. I came across the one above and although pink is not my thing, have to admit this photo really caught my eye. These ribbons would make great additions to some crazy quilting and I LOVE POLKA DOTS!
