As promised another NEEDLEPOINT sample today and another beauty.
The pattern is Freda Murfin’s Tidbits #1 and is available at Freda’s Fancy Stitching. Each “tidbit” measures 3 ½ inches square on 18 count canvas.
Susan created this gorgeous sample using a similar combination of colours and threads as I showed in Marie’s sample on Monday. Susan has used Colours #52 and Colour #162 in a size 5 perle cotton, Colour #50 in a size 8 perle and Colour #51 in cotton floss. She added hints of DMC #3051 in green and some flat ribbon in the center and corners. You could easily substitute Neon Rays for the flat ribbon.
If it interests you, I have put together a thread kit of all three of my spring collection in size 5 perle cotton along with Kreinik 1/16” ribbon in purple. You could add Colour Complements Colour #162 and you might like to pick up some 6 strand floss in Colour #51 for this tidbit.
