This is the second NEEDLEPOINT stitch sample today showcasing Colour #186.
Many of you who do needlepoint will likely know of Blue Dogwood Designs. Kay of Blue Dogwood Designs offers a mystery project annually releasing new stitches each month. The above sample is a selection of squares from her Tangled Rose project. You can find the stitch guides HERE. Each square measures 1” and the entire design is 8×8 on 18 count canvas. Marie has chosen 9 different squares for her stitch sample measuring about 3” on 18 count canvas.
Please note that you should have enough to stitch the Fun with Fibres project from Monday and the Tangled Rose project above with one skein of each of the following.
Colour #33 – 6 strand floss
Colour #186 – size 5 perle cotton
Kreinik 1/16” ribbon in purples
Size 5 Perle cotton in various values of solid turquoise
