It has taken some time but I finally have my Petite Very Velvet back in stock again – glorious hand dyed colours!

What is Petite Very Velvet?
Petite Very Velvet is a nylon velour thread which creates the appearance of velvet. It is comparable to a size 5 perle cotton in thickness. It is strong and holds up well when stitching maintaining its shape and thickness throughout the length. I recommend you use a large needle and a short length when stitching. I adds plush texture and we all like texture!
Works well on needlepoint canvas (13-18 count) and cross stitch (9-10 count). Useful to create architectural elements on painted canvas or for embroidered bugs. I especially like it for creating stumpwork bees.
Please note that my petite very velvet is randomly dyed so ensure you order what you require for your project. Alternate dye lots are always different.
