Living Coral with Colour Complements threads

This week is all about Pantone’s Colour of the Year – Living Coral.  As I mentioned in Monday’s post, Colour Complements Colour #39 is my interpretation of Living Coral.  The stitch sample above measures about 4 inches on 18 count canvas and was stitched using size 5 perle cottons.  The sample is designed by Laura Perin called the 2009 Diamond Ornament and is offered as a freebie on her website HERE.

Colour Complements Living Coral

This is the colour palette used and you will need one skein of each of the colours listed in a size 5 perle cotton

Colour Complements Colour #39 – “Living Coral”

Colour Complements Colour #18 – greens

Colour Complements Colour #23 – yellows, blues, coral, greens

Colour Complements Colour #21 – greens/yellows

DMC Size 5 Perle Cotton #819 – pink

You could easily add a small border of Kreinik braid surrounding the center eyelet stitch for a little bling!

Click all the colours above for links to the shop.  Thank you Marie.  I have another example coming on Friday so stay tuned.
