Colour Complements threads; hardanger

I am excited to share an example of HARDANGER today.  I have a number of customers who use my threads for Hardanger but I rarely see examples of their work.  I do on occasion but not frequently so please send any photos of samples along!

I mentioned previously that I recently joined the Cowichan Valley Needle Arts Guild and am once again fortunate to have a very talented group stitching some samples for me.

Zerena has used 32 count antique white Belfast linen for her background and this sample measures 3 inches square.  The pattern is for a Pansy Ornament derived from the Pansy Sampler Hardanger band and is available as a free pattern from the Victoria Sampler HERE.  It incorporates whitework.  Zerena used Colour Complements Colour #51 in a size 8 perle and Colour Complements Colour #50 in a size 12 perle. She opted to do buttonhole corner stitches instead of Klosters on the outer edge.

Thank you Zerena.
