Our aqua coloured stitch sample video features beautiful aqua and lime blend. Colour #81, the latest in our Summer Collection released this month.
You may look at this colour and see some darker variations of aquas and lime green. The same vibrant colours of lime green were added as seen in Colour #80, also one of our new Summer Collection colours. Instead of incorporating lemon and cardinal yellows, I went on the opposite spectrum of the colour wheel and added different shades of aquas instead.

In the video, I am demonstrating an Alternating Mosaic stitch on 18-count canvas using a size 5 Perle cotton.
I find it beneficial to share videos of my colour combinations so you can “see” how the colour combination appears when stitched. For reference, you will find the stitch in the Stitches Book Volume One by Ruth Schmuff and Kathy Holicky. These books are ones that I like to use for my stitch samples as the diagrams are very easy to follow.
