Welcome Gnome | Florentina
Meet Florentina, the inaugural gnome in our enchanting “Welcome Gnome” series, skillfully designed by Marilyn Owen. This is an excellent project if you are new to a counted canvas design as well as if you are looking to create a fun little project using custom thread kits.
Florentina is featured in the January/February 2023 issue of Needle Pointers, bringing creativity to your stitching journey.
What is included in the Florentina Thread Kit?
Florentina offers a rainbow of colours in our Colour Complements thread kit, which includes four skeins of size 5 perle cotton, featuring a collection of vibrant hues. These generous kits not only provide ample material for Florentina but give you the opportunity to stitch part if not all of a second gnome if you wish!
For finishing touches, add an extra skein of perle cotton, in a Colour Complements shade. The series promises a stitcher’s delight with each edition.
Please note that you’ll need to purchase 18-count mono canvas from your local needlework shop.
What is the Welcome Gnome Series?
The “Welcome Gnome” series introduces six unique gnomes, each measuring approximately 3 x 4 inches. Marilyn Owen’s thoughtful designs offer a delightful variety of stitches, ensuring an engaging and enjoyable stitching experience.
You can explore the custom thread kits tailored for each gnome, starting with Florentina. Each Gnome in the series promises a rainbow of colours in our Colour Complements thread kit.
