Courtly Checks Thread Kit

One skein (20 meters/21.47 yards) of size 5 perle cotton in colours

  • colours 65, 68, 69, 72, 120, 183, 184
  • white and black – 25 meters/27.34 yards
  • total of 190 meters/207.79 yards

Courtly Checks are three ornaments featured in the July/August 2021 issue of Needlepoint Now designed by Kam Wenzloff.  All three were stitched with Colour Complements threads.

Plum Sparkle was the first of the three ornaments Kam designed followed by Wintergreen and Merry & Bright.  The black and white checks add interest to each of these unique designs.

What will you need to stitch Courtly Checks?
Pick up your copy of Needlepoint Now.  You will also need to purchase 18-count mono canvas – each of the samples were stitched on white.
The thread kit contents include ALL the threads required to stitch the three ornaments with the exception of a small amount of Kreinik Braid.  You should have sufficient threads to start on additional ornaments if you wish.
