EMBROIDERY, Colour Complements threads I have had the pleasure of sharing Stacy’s EMBROIDERY in past posts and am delighted to share another example today.

Stacy specializes in contemporary art quilts, needle-felted animals, textile sculptures and embellishments using various materials and products.

Shown above are some fiber “gems”.  Some will be brooches and some wall art as in 4×4 wooden frames.  Customers have the option to buy one or several and cluster them on the wall.  Stacy uses various threads depending on the result she wishes to achieve.  In these gems she has used my Very Velvet Petite, Kreinik 1/16” ribbon,  tubular ribbon and sparkle chainette.  All the stitches used are easy – outline, blanket, whip, French knots and beading basics.  She also embellishes some with crochet.

Thank you Stacy.
