NEEDLEPOINT, hand dyed embroidery threads A truly beautiful NEEDLEPOINT stitch sample today!  I LOVE this colour combination and think I may just need to repeat this in a larger project.

The pattern is “Tequila Sunrise” by Laura Perin.  It is a free pattern offered through Rainbow Gallery.   You will need one skein of each of the three colours noted below.  One skein will be more than what is required so you should be able to stitch two sides if you wished to create an ornament and perhaps even a small scissor fob.

Colour #17 in a size 5 perle cotton

Colour #25 in a size 5 perle cotton

Kreinik 1/16″ Ribbon Colour #15

Over the last year I have found it challenging to fit in stitch time with all the other business committments I have on the go.  Fortunately, I recently contacted a satellite group of members of the Victoria Embroiderers’ Guild who do canvas work.  They meet once weekly to stitch – oh, how lovely!  I do hope to visit and join them one day very soon 🙂

Thank you Dominique for a lovely sample!
