Late last year I introduced hand dyed cotton floss to my product line. Interestingly I’ve never used cotton floss much in my crazy quilting but since I started needlepoint last year AND since I’ve purchased a laying tool I’m starting to use it more and more. I don’t cross stitch and have been hoping for some time to see some using my floss.
Thanks to Dima I have a lovely cross stitch lace sampler to share with you today. Dima is participating in an SAL – what the heck is that? Well it is a stitch-a-long and I understand there are different kinds. This is an online stitch-a-long where participants work on the same project and document their progress in photos. The pattern is created by Esther and combines cross stitching and blackwork to create different lace borders. You can read about it here and here. You can read about Dima’s progress on her blog here. Dima has used my cotton floss on a background of Wichelt Jobelan Lambswool 32 count. Isn’t it gorgeous 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing this Dima. I look forward to see as you progress through the project. You can find all my hand dyed cotton floss in the shop here.
