I am excited to introduce hand dyed cotton embroidery floss to my product line in the shop this week. I have had a number of requests for embroidery floss since I opened the shop several years ago so here it is! DMC cotton embroidery floss is a 6 strand floss made from Egyptian cotton. It is double mercerized to give it a lovely sheen. Skeins are 10 meters (10.94 yards) in size which will give you a generous volume to stitch with.
I am never quite sure what to expect when I start dyeing a new product but must admit I am thrilled with the resulting colours. Hope you are too! I’ll share some samples tomorrow…
