NEEDLEPOINT

This is square #6 in my Rainforest Crunch needlepoint project, – 30 more to go!  I’ve used three threads in this square.  I started by stitching the border in a yellow/gold/brown combination.  Once this was complete I knew I had to provide contrast in the center section.  I chose a deeper orange/pink thread and for further differentiation added the green/orange blend.  Another fun square to stitch.  I found when I was stitching that I started to become much faster at completing the squares the more I did.  So after six I was moving along fairly quickly, after 30 or so very quickly!  Of course one must remember to count accurately in counted canvas work, an error I won’t soon forget…..  You can find these colour ways in my shop.
