I have been busy in the dye studio this week following my shipment of SILK. There is just something about the feel and lustre of SILK – beautiful. This is a tightly twisted 3 ply filament silk. It is similar in size to a #5 perle cotton. I use it on both 18 count canvas for needlepoint and various seam treatments in crazy quilting. It would be great for any type of embroidery work. I’m going to be experimenting on an upcoming wool applique project as I think the contrast would be gorgeous. So, have I whet your appetite, for threads that is! You can find these listed in my shop. Enjoy your weekend and back on Monday!
