A NEEDLEPOINT stitch sample today!
The pattern is a mini ornament designed by Joan Lohr. It is the size of a scissor fob, about 1 ½” on 18 count canvas so quite small. It is a free pattern offered through Rainbow Gallery which you can find HERE. You will need one skein of each of the threads noted below. One skein is MORE than what is required and you should easily be able to stitch an additional ornament or perhaps enlarge this pattern.
I could definitely see adding a rich deep green or perhaps some yellows to this combination. What about adding more stitches to enlarge this into a small ornament. The possibilities are endless.
I mentioned previously that I have a satellite group of members of the Victoria Embroiderers’ Guild who do canvas work doing some stitching for me. Thank you Johanna for a lovely sample!
Have a great weekend and back on Monday.
